Seattle Symphony: Star Wars – A New Hope In Concert at Benaroya Hall

Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert on Friday, July 9th, 2027 at 8:00 PM as the Grammy award-winning Seattle Symphony performs the legendary 1977 film score live at Seattle's downtown Benaroya Hall. Lawrence Loh leads the full Seattle Symphony orchestra performing the entire score while the film is projected on the large screen in the main auditorium.

Seattle's Grammy-winning orchestra, Seattle Symphony, performs a wide array of famous orchestral pieces and provides a unique interpretation of many of the famous movie scores. For the downtown Seattle performance of Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert the high-energy score from the film will be performed live by the Seattle Symphony as the movie screens behind them. From the heroic Main Title, Princess Leia's powerful Theme, to the ferocious Battle of Yavin, audiences will be able to experience one of the most beloved films of all time in a whole new way and be able to remember it just as well. 

Benaroya Hall Information

Benaroya Hall is located at 200 University Street in the heart of downtown Seattle. The concerts will take place in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium. Every performance takes place in a world-class performing space that is designed to provide an optimal setting for both performer and audience to experience music of the highest caliber.

The seats are divided into several sections or tiers and include Orchestra seats and Founders Tier seats which are closest to the stage. In addition, the performance will also be held on the Second and Third Tiers which offer excellent views of the stage from slightly higher vantage points. In total, the performance will have seating for 2,479 guests.

Parking Information

There is an underground garage that is attached to the hall that can be reserved in advance. The handicapped parking is on a first come, first served basis and is available outside of the garage as well as within. Reserving your parking as well as your tickets to this show is recommended as it will ensure that you have a space in the garage as well as your tickets for the show. There are also many street car parking lots as well as public parking lots throughout the downtown Seattle area.
